wOnk was established in 2009 by Founder Danny Mekanik and his Soul Mekanik Brother Kelvin Andrews.
The first pArTy was held in the basement of a Kashmiri restaurant in Stafford, UK on Halloween, with HaLLowONk, which now infamously marks our Birthday.
With a vision to create something special with quality House Music played through a great sound system and the values of Peace, Love, Unity & Oneness, Danny's mission was to invite 'The nicest people you KnOw'.
wOnK was born.
16 years on and with almost 200 fully themed pArties delivered, including 9 wOnKsTocK micro festivals, 4 Community Party in the Parks called AbUnDance, 4 years of week long holidays at wOnK Cyprus Holistic Groove Weeks and numerous feeder parties, including Planet wOnK, Love Beats, RE:Late, and the more recent Excellent Behaviour parties in Manchester, UK, FreakBeats in Barcelona and Beach Parties WAVES in Vilanova
wOnK is International, with ongoing events in the UK and SPAIN.

We are excited about the first Wonk International Weekender since we launched in Barcelona in December 2019. Bringing together the Founders and residents now in both countries for a very special 16th Birthday celebration at the 17th HaLLowOnK pArTy.

Donde todo comenzó...
wOnk fue fundada en 2009 por su fundador Danny Mekanik y su hermano Kelvin Andrews, miembro de Soul Mekanik.
La primera fiesta se celebró en el sótano de un restaurante cachemir en Stafford, Reino Unido, el día de Halloween, con HaLLowONk, que ahora marca de forma infame nuestro cumpleaños.
Con la visión de crear algo especial con música house de calidad reproducida a través de un excelente sistema de sonido y los valores de paz, amor, unidad y unicidad, la misión de Danny era invitar a «La gente más linda que conoce».
Así nació wOnK.
Dieciséis años después y con casi 200 fiestas temáticas celebradas, incluyendo 9 microfestivales wOnKsTocK, 4 fiestas comunitarias en los parques llamadas AbUnDance, 4 años de vacaciones de una semana en wOnK Cyprus Holistic Groove Weeks y numerosas fiestas secundarias, incluyendo Planet wOnK, Love Beats, RE:Late y las más recientes Excellent Behaviour en Manchester (Reino Unido), FreakBeats en Barcelona y Beach Parties WAVES en Vilanova.
wOnK es internacional, con eventos continuos en el Reino Unido y España.
Una comunidad de almas afines se reúne en wOnK. Somos parte de la revolución. Amor, baile, buen humor, diversión, risas, aventura, buena música, respeto, libertad, apertura, aceptación e inclusión.
En wOnK valoramos la libertad y apoyamos a todos para que sean ellos mismos en un espacio seguro. También fomentamos el discernimiento, la concienciación y un enfoque consciente de las fiestas.
